PUPPY PLACEMENT
As I am the caregiver I
know most everything about these, my pups. I do not allow or
encourage choosing a puppy. My process is to raise them to 12 weeks
. By then I've observed, taken notes and compared the pups to see
who meets the standard and those that do are show quality and those
that don't become pet quality with no breeding rights.
That same day structure is
evaluated as to how closely each pup conforms to the breed standard.
Beyond
that for 18 months they are in several different awkward growth
stages. Along the process I am always in contact with prospective
buyers taking their input, and working with them to assure a smooth
transition. I take into account if they have favorites from our
weekly picture updates and it all is part of my decision. I do make
the final decision.
WHAT YOUR PUPPY WILL HAVE, & YOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your puppy will have
been to the vet several times. We call them “well puppy” visits.
This includes a comprehensive exam, fecal test for parasites, and
standard worming regardless of negative fecal. One sets of puppy
shots in the 3 set series, it is your responsibility to get the
last two sets, I will expect vet receipts for those visits as
required in my record keeping for each litter. I will provide
receipts for the vet calls I perform... They will be Micro
chipped. They will also come with the Common Ground Shepherds puppy Pack
and information on the breed, food, puppy advise, training tips,
anything you will need to know. I am here for the new owners day
or night for advice or help I can offer for the life of the dog.
SHIPPING
I will ship only Delta
Air Cargo, 'Pet First" dept. Weather is carefully checked on both sides and health
certificate is required from within days of shipping. The added
cost of shipping will be added to the cost of the pup. Puppies
with Limited Registrations will not be shipped overseas. You are
also welcome to pick up your pup, in fact I encourage it. I
prefer to meet the families my pups will go to. All airline prices
subject to change, and often do!!
All pet/family dogs are sold on
limited registrations. This is not negotiable. I can easily
reverse the process if any owner decides to show their dog later
on down the road. Not every puppy is show, working or breed
quality.
